The Role of Junior Sommelier:

Four Seasons Hotel Madrid is looking for a Junior Sommelier to join our ISA team. We are looking for a professional that share a passion for exceptional service and who infuse enthusiasm and passion into everything he or she do.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ability to advise the guest on wine selection and supervise day-to-day wine service
• Responsible for selecting and consolidating the wine list by adhering to budget and beverage cost
• Conduct staff training on product knowledge with weekly frequency
• Responsible for weekly and monthly wine inventories of all F&B outlets
• Experience with Spanish cuisine and wines highly preferred
• Assists servers with wine service
• Checks back with guests to assure satisfaction

Requirements:

• Previous Junior Sommelier experience in fine dining
• Fluency in English and Spanish
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of wines and food pairing
• Legal right to work in Spain
